Guest Testimonials

  • I stayed at the Crest Motel once a week for over a year for work - during that time, I probably stayed in every room. Rooms are clean, there's free wifi, and the staff are some of the nicest people in the world. There's a continental breakfast in the morning - simple things like muffins and coffee. The hotel is...Read More

  • This is a wonderful alternative to the cookie cutter chain motel. Not only is it a charming motel, but it is on a historically significant site. First - our room was spacious, with all the amenities - fridge, microwave, table and chairs and desk space. The bathroom is large with a roomy vanity. The entire suite is clean and freshly...Read More

  • The room was clean and tidy when we checked in. The biggest surprise was opening the blinds and being knocked out by the view. Astoria, the Columbia, the Astoria-Megler bridge, all in view like a postcard. And then we got the treat of one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen. A great value! We'll be staying here again!...Read More

  • The hotel is right on the highway into town (but we were able to keep our bathroom window open and didn't notice the noise), and is a classic roadside motel that you might expect to find on Route 66. It is immaculately kept up and is, therefore, a wonderful place to stay. Property is on a cliff overlooking the Columbia...Read More

  • This place is wonderful and an excellent value! Get a view room: located on a bluff, this motel has a breathtaking view, much better than most of the spendy ones. The rooms are clean and serene. They were also great for our 2 yr old, (the doors can't easily be opened like the places we stayed in Hawaii). Thank you...Read More

Quiet, with a spectacular panoramic view of the beautiful scenery, whether you're in your room, in the hot tub , sitting by the fountain or just walking the grounds. Staff service was above and beyond accommodating...Read More

  • Stayed in July for three nights and this was a really neat place. Step out the back door and there's the Columbia River with a view of the bridge that connects Oregon and Washington. Early morning and early evening watch the big ships go by. Good size room with micro/fridge and very clean. Comfortable, firm beds. On east side of...Read More

  • We have stayed at the Crest every year for about ten years and love it-the view is priceless! Even tho it's on the highway it is quiet, and we're looking forward to seeing how the new owners have updated it. We like to give our business to non-corporate businesses and hope it retains the individuality we're used to. We...Read More

  • My partner and I recently stayed at your motel. I'd like to inform you, it was the most pleasant experience. The service was awesome. It was a busy Saturday evening and crazy Sunday morning.
